At times, it seems a bit slower than average. I did delete trash and scam, and that speed it up considerably.

My computer has been sooooo very slow during the last few years. For the past couple years I have been listning to your ads and finally tried it. My computer is many times faster now than before. No joke, it would take over 5 minutes to open up my web browser before PC-Matic. Now it takes just a few seconds. Thank you so very much. I'm just rambling now, but it is because I'm so happy --- You actually saved my computer. I don't have to buy a new one...

11/30/2010 12:13:24 AM One of the last generation of Dell PCs to use the ATA/IDE bus and AGP graphics cards - but it does have a built-in controller for 2 SATA drives. Next years model, the Dimension 8400, upgraded to SATA and PCI Express, a P4 3.06 Ghz CPU, and slightly better sound and video cards. Both models cost over $3000 new.

It can't seem to do more than a few things at the same time. I can't do anything while it is doing the virus scan for example because it is slow and "hangs up".

3/4/2016 5:11:35 PM When we ordered this computer they failed to put in the rewrite DVD drive along with the CD rewrite drive. They mailed it to us and we did it ourselves, but it never worked correctly. In the beginning it was an OK PC, but over time it began to give me trouble. Probable some was due to malware and/or viruses I was unaware of. Hopefully with PCMatic this will get better.

They just re-installed the OS Drive and the Re-direcr virus is back. My computer has been updated over the years but still has been especially giving me problem in the year. I need to get another computer,like a laptop, leave this on as part of a Network, after I bring it up to speed, for the Guests and the kids to play on.
