5/6/2009 3:16:18 PM This computer was an $59.00 Ebay purchase off a business lease .It is a 2003 Dell Optiplex GX260.Dell was a big help in getting it going as they they shipped a Dell OEM Win XP Pro disk although this was not a new purchase.A P4 2.4 ghz.processor may seem old to a lot of PC users now but it very nicely replaced a Pentium 111 Model 550 mhz processor PC (which had been tested on PC Pitstop many times.

He sent me 3 pieces of RAM and even gave me his phone number to call him if I ever had trouble with it. The computer is an older one but has run pretty good up until a couple of weeks ago. I'm running WinXP, 1.5 GB of RAM and 2.4 Ghz Pentium 3.

11/12/2010 10:59:52 AM slow slow slow as malasses, turtle could out perform this puter have to sit here when trying to open a pregram at least 3 to 5 minutes with no exageration if spelled right, Someday when I can win the lottery (that's a joke) I might be able to get a new laptop instead of a desktop ( I like to dream ) but at my age I will probably be in the ground before that ever happens, this was a used computer that i p;urchased the age is really about 8 years old cause that is what i could afford, but thats life, so that is why it runs slower than a turtle can and that is slow so that is all I have to say other then falling asleep at the wheel. So I think that you got everything you need to know about how slow malasses pours out of the Jar. So when I'am done with my knap I can try and work on this puter until it freezes up and then I just repeat the whole process all over again, so at this pace I'am still in the stone age.
