4/28/2017 12:38:22 PM | I think there is malware on the computer where I get two seperate messages (pop ups while using Google Chrome; have gotten the messages 4 or 5 times in the past 6 months) at different times that say my computer is "Blocked" and I need to call a phone number (either 855-622-6365 or 877-767-5509; depending of which messgage pops up) to unblock my computer. It is probably rensom ware, is my guess. When getting these messages I have always immediately shut my computer down; I don't press the "OK" button in the message. Any time I call the phone numbers listed above; they are busy; I call anonmysly. So, I just shut my computer down and reboot it; it always reboots OK. I got each message today; got the 1st message; shut down the computer; rebooted OK. Started Chrome maybe went to my Comcast email and then the 2nd message popped up. I did a 2nd shut down and rebooted; the computer came OK. |
