10/26/2009 8:51:35 PM Hate the operating system (Windows Vista) but I run a dual-boot setup with Ubuntu Linux on a separate partition. Ubuntu functions very well, so I know any speed/performance issues I have are with the Windows operating system. Windows sucks.

8/4/2009 7:36:27 PM This is an Acer Aspire 5315-2153. I am quite satisified with it, though i'm not quite sure how to use all it's functions, especially the Wireless access. I run Windos Vista Home Edition as my OS. I access the internet via a cable modem.

7/21/2010 8:28:29 AM I get problems like, the system crashing all the time. The mouse pointer freezes constantly and will only work again by booting the machine. I know i have a lot of craplets, but i only get to know about them with a scan. PC Pitstop used to let you know the craplets and the name of them so i can stop them from loading at startup. I think the Registry has problems but every Registry scanner i have used tells me there are hundreds of errors but as soon as i click repair it opens a screen asking for payment details. Unfortunetly i had a bad spinal injury a few years ago and all i get is disability benifit now, so there is no way i could purchase one. At least my two laptops still work even if they are slow as my monitor for my stack system has went a bit wonky and will only lite up when i turn it off then on again i get two seonds of normal creen then it goes dark, but on a bright day i can still see the desctop.

12/11/2010 10:32:32 AM I do not know a lot about computers, but this laptop takes forever to start up and shut down. Even when i try to open internet explore or even controle pannel it takes quite some time to open. If i try to open internet explorer, i normaly can make a cup of cofee before it has loaded completely. The same with the controle pannel i click to open it and it cane take anyware between 4 and 7 minutes
