5/20/2020 11:14:43 PM After I loaded PC Matic, I started a scan as complete as I knew how at the time. The first 2 or 3 processess seemed to go ok but when I left the room for 10 minutesl, it was still scanning for malware and the next time I looked at it the computer had shut down due to no input for a while. I didn't know exactly how long that process was supposed to take.After I set the power options to stay on forever, I restarted the PC Matic app and left the house for a doctors appointment. When I got back a couple of hours later, the scan had stopped and there was a message "Error: Ajax error returned: error SaveSecurity Tests.asp". I still didn't know if the appropriate process had completed and when I tried to access the Internet, my computer wouldn't connect. I tried 2 different wireless access points plus the "hot spot" option on my phone, all without luck. I really didn't want to restart the computer and wait an hour or 2 for the scan process to complete again so I simply restarted my computer and it connected to the internet as normal but now I don't know if I should attempt to start the scanning processes again. I want to use it, not sit and watch PC Matic run scans for who knows how long. Right now I have internet access and will take care of what I need to online and restart the scanning processes again before I go to bed when I won't need it for a few hours. If this is a common issue, I will find out if PC Matic provides what I'm looking for regarding online protection.
