Cleaning the dust out, defragging, virus-scanning, spyware-scanning, removing startup programs, uninstalling programs, freeing up space on my hard drive, and even registry fixing with Norton Security Suite 2011 still hasn't really brought my computer back up to the speed I experienced it at when I bought it.

8/23/2011 8:00:30 PM Reboots faster than any computer that I have every had and come back from sleep faster than any computer I have ever had and all so loading is very fast. Recently Windows loads, Welcome come up, mouse works, the screen goes black which it has always done for a few second. As of last night it may lock up in the or it is so slow it takes about 1 minute to load. Once Windows loads, the programs work almost as fast as they did. I have recently added ACT, Formtool 4, and Serif4, that could have done something? Yesterday Explorer started trying to load mail and web, fluttering in the top of screen back and forth; never seen that before, took to Best Buys and they changed over to Chrome, seems to be working ok.

I removed the program because of overseas supp. Ijust seen your ad on Direct TV Channel 10 ABC, so I tried it again I think what I have seen so far it looks great.

The click sounds like when you shut down the computer and you hear the click when it turns off but the computer isn't off. Like all systems is turned off but the desktop is still showing but the mouse doesn't move the clock stops, you can't do anything until you reboot

The internet icon shows that the internet is connected, but there's no connection, and I have to restart the computer frequently. It won't log off or shut down sometimes, and I need to take out the battery to shut the system off.

I have had tech support and it it more often than not very diffictult to understand what is is being asked of you or what is being told to you. One can simply not understand the tech command of the english language.I a most disppointed as I ama Media Specialist and work with and trouble shoot for all kinds of computers at school. Additionally, they are forever trying to blame all the problems on the fact that I don't have a Dell printer to match the Dell computer....sister Please!! Tell it to someone who really will buy into that sort of B.S. and leave me alone. Have considered purchasing another year of Dell hardware warrenty but I can't rationalize it at this point...it would have be be one sweet deal to even sit down and look at it.

I'm not sure if this means, Administrator, Me, Guest, or whatever user name(s). This computer also runs slowly, and starts up the fan for whatever reason because it's running pretty hot. It's a Dell Inspiron Laptop. I like it, otherwise. I think my 12-year-old may have mixed up the users, and that's why it's telling me the wrong profile loaded.

4/10/2010 10:52:06 PM the computer has had problems since i bought it. at first the web cam wasnt working, DELL finally fixed that after three calls. the plug-and-play mouse stopped working. they fixed that 4 times when i called them. the recovery drive has dissappeared all together. when i boot the computer it comes to a black screen, and i have to reset the computer several times before it comes on. the last time i called DELL, they told me that i have to pay them $249 dollars for them to fix the problem.

4/23/2010 1:10:32 PM I am unhappy with the pc right now because it does all sorts of strange things. When I try and type messages to people in facebook or email or anything sometimes it will disappear and things will just drop down out of nowhere. Like the printer box will just appear or my favorites list, my font on the page will chagge usually to a smaller size, just to name a few. All kinds of things. This pc used to restart quickly and to logoff it either takes a super long time or I have to do a hard shut down myself. Please help get this thing off of my compudter.Plus it freezes up on me alllll the time and I control alt, delete all day long.
