8/28/2009 6:51:06 PM It seems to take for ever for this unit to boot up and be ready for use. When first started, the loading indicator on the bottom right blinks it;s little heart out for at least 2 & 1/2 minutes before the unit is ready to go. Everything else appears to be good.

7/30/2009 5:56:12 AM It's been working fine, however recently it seems the CPU does not get out of its lowest 6x speed, where it should be able to go up to 16x. It's a Dell D600 running a Pentium M 1600 Mhz processor, but only runs at 600Mhz currently.

9/8/2011 1:37:52 AM This was a used computer that had been wiped clean. It is old, but it ran very fast when I first got it. It has gotten very slow over the past year. I thought my antivirus program was using too much RAM after installing updated versons, so I changed to a different program which uses less RAM. My system is still slow. I use this computer for travel, so internet connectioin speed varies. That is why I do not know the rated ISP speed.

11/20/2014 1:50:36 PM Slowness is generally when using windows explorer and navigating the hard drive with the "tree" view open. If a location is typed in the addreww bar OR the tree view is closed, naigation is much much faster.

When I was with CA I subscribed to PITSTOP and found it to be a good program, however,as above, I could not get a hard copy. Perhaps you can addres this.

6/5/2010 8:38:22 PM This is my laptop used about three times a week it seams to run fair but would like to keep it running smooth. Right now I have a Desk Top with major problems. I installed a software called FabDVD to which one can write and copy DVDs. Software ask for me to enter a registery code to enable use to it's fullist. Well needless to say I screwed up. Aperently it locked up my ability to acces the internet and has slooooowed it down to a crawl. I trid to install this program but no internet made it impossable. I'm in need of some kind of help as to how i can repair this problem, if you have any ideas I'd more than happy to lesten to your advice. I plan on installing this program on two other computers. I do hope it's as good as the salesmen at comp USA raved about only time will tell.

The router i have seems to be ok because the other lap-top's internet connection is just fine, but if i have a long download on this laptop, it is very hard for it to finish its download. Most of the time i have to start the download over because it will not finish, it just freezes up either right away or half way thru the download, or sometimes even at the very end.
