The disc arrived but I selected the wrong program (Optimize)therefore I later found out I should entered PC Matic and found out in the process that I entered the wrong program. Anyway eveything got installed and did the Scan.

11/25/2018 12:54:42 PM This computer was a free replace sent to me in March of 2016 because HP could not repair the Windows 7 one I owned after it would not upgrade to Windows 10 as advertised. In the time of ownership for almost three years, Windows 10 became unstable about six months ago and had to be reinstalled. Other than that I have no problem with the hardware. I have only owned HP products because of the excellent warranty program.

I uninstalled the program and ordered PC Matic. It was at REAL challenge to find the download on the computer, so I could activate/install the program. I anticipate much improvement in computer performance.

So it cost me over 200.00 at best buy to have a fresh copy of windows 10 because of the problems that had occurred. So I am happy with the new copy but could not be reset back to factor because of problems you people have with windows 10. I paid the price for your lack of fixing windows 10 problems. If I did not need this laptop because of having to use it for tracking my diabetes and for and my Health vet program when I go on vacation . I would have put it in the trash and left it there! I am a disable vet and I think it is a disgrace that I had to pay for a problem you people could not solve. Thank You

3/2/2018 9:54:03 AM I was very angry when my both of my WIn 10 PCs were disabled on the same day in February 2018. I was very angry with PC Pitstop when my email innquiry was answered by blaming Microsoft and Windows Update and my failure to properly remove bundled antivirus software. I had followed PC Pitstop guidance to remove the Macafee AV that was initally bundled omto my HP and Dell laptops. I suggest PC Pitstop take a bit of ownership by strengthening your relationship with Microft. A good start would be getting the PC Matic app into the WIndows 10 store. If I suffer another loss like this again because PC Pitsop fails to work with Microft then I will not renew my PC Pitstop and resort to WIndows 10 default AV protection. Please own it... and fix it. 5/31/2018 2:36:50 PM We bought two of this model at the same time. One is working fine but this one is a mess. I use PCMatic to keep it up to date and that helps a great deal. But it is so slow and lacking in dependence. This is my THIRD HP laptop and the first one I do not enjoy.

4/14/2020 3:32:13 PM when I attempt to click on something with the "mouse pad" (that is controlled by finger swipes), I hover over the area in which I would like to "click" and the cursor jumps downward, causing me to miss the ability to "click" on my desired target. It does this about 60% of the time. I HATE it and will never buy another HP again. I cannot recall the exact year in which I purchased this computer. I'm guessing about 8-10 years ago.
