2/8/2011 12:11:04 AM Reducing the number of start up probrams during boot up , drastically help start up time.. I think your idea of allowing a delayted start up of some programs a usful remediy. I THINK when several prorgrams are running on a consistiant basis. Then we need to defragment the virtiual memmeory. or auto scrsis. The bigest problem is manination a large enuough buffer to boot the bootup canbe reducded and expanded like ti Quarter Deck Program.

Just re-installed same vista biz.

10/16/2009 2:52:59 AM VERY SLOW lately...multiple issues with Memory and HardDisk performance. Also, horrible experiences ((s-YES!) myself, as well as SEVERAL friends and family members) with HP/Compaq Li-Ion battery life. I'm running PC Matic (for the 1st time) in safe mode right now, because (AGAIN) this laptop failed to boot normal. Less than a week ago, I was forced to take this PC to a service center and pay more than $300 for diagnostics; fortunately though, as a result, I was introduced to the PC PITSTOP family of products! THANK YOU!
