5/7/2010 3:44:36 AM This computer was used very very little, because I had it offsite as a backup in case my primary computer failed. I have kept it up-to-date with MS updates. I have Norton's Internet Security program fpr protection. I have bare necessity s/w and files on it. It was running quite fast and normal up to a couple of month's ago, with little use by me. I've run MS Defender and MS essentials to check for viruses.

12/23/2010 6:41:57 PM This laptop has been used primarily as a desktop, with external monitor, keyboard and mouse. It is ideally suited for my needs, which does not encompass gaming or other demands beyond its capabilities. It has provided five years of flawless service with no malfunctions. I recently acquired a mint condition back up ze2000 for $140, and do not forsee acquiring another laptop (or desktop) until 2020 or beyond, even though XP will no longer be supported as of 2014.

8/15/2010 9:19:26 PM Your Program on tuning up the computer does not really works, it only advice on what finds wrong on the system, but it does really said how to do it or fix it. Plus your Anti-virus doesnot really stop anything from infecting the system... Sincerly...LUISANTONIO

6/24/2009 5:04:05 PM My only complaint with this computer is - IT DOES RUN SLOW!! Sometimes slower than others. It may not be the computer itself - just all the junk on it. I have saved everything to disks - including all pictures. Do the pictures make it run slow?

5/3/2011 12:27:07 AM Frequent cache writing errors when working remotely, especially if I have many programs open. Time out errors and lose connectivity, but not on remote dekstop side.

1/13/2011 3:02:30 PM Suspect MalWare: "windows installer needs to install..... in Solution Center" = Have to keep clicking Cancel...*** Was PC Pitstop user - Got McAfee along with Cox High Speed ISP- Am thinking of trying PC Matic in a couple of weeks (need to get another check)...*** 3 different scans will not capture bug.

2/20/2012 1:50:47 AM This computer has served me well, although I won't buy another HP laptop due to cheap parts on the motherboard. The USB ports on this laptop came apart early on, and the motherboard has been replaced due to broken parts. Lately, Office Word and Wordpad have begun hanging every time I use them, and newer programs and activities seem to be too much for this 2005 laptop.
