The Aspire M5100 budget-minded middle-of-the-road desktop computer with a quad-core 2.2-GHz AMD Phenom 9500 processor, 3GB of RAM, and a 500GB hard drive as its common componetry. It sports a sleek glossy front panel, with almost indistinguishable doors that conceal the optical drives. The downward-sliding door covering the 3.5-inch drive bays also hides the 9-in-1 media card readers.

7/31/2010 3:24:19 PM this computer is new less than a year old and it's slow and needs to be restarted all the time. the loading time is long and slow and it is inoring to use. it is the only computer we have and it is frastrating trying to retrieve anything from it at anytime of day. I thought this software could help. can you help speed this computer up or not?

9/11/2009 11:15:40 PM my acer AM-5100 has already been in the shop twice. Both times they returned it in working condition and i was surprised it only took them a few days (including shipping time!) the acer people were very helpful and replaced the motherboard and cpu along with other things. i purchased this computer online and it was refurbished. it's a good computer but i can't upgrade the graphics because the power supply is too small. the computer tends to run hotter than it should if i do too many things at one time.
