6/17/2009 5:26:05 PM I did not like the Acer programmes, so had XP installed as well. Acer refused to open all my existing files - Fam.tree/Word/Pictures etc. very frustrating. My brother who is a long time user of your Pitstop advised me to do the same.

8/31/2010 2:54:47 PM Only the memory of 1 GB is not adducate for fast speed broadband. I tried to update memory by adding DDR2 1GB, but the computer didn't finish automatic configuration for 3 hours. I had to take it out and reinstal the 1GB stick.

1/12/2010 6:43:17 AM Very slow loading programs. Freezes up and you actually have to turn of main power to PC because ctrl, alt, delete will not always bring you to end program screen. Seems loike we get alot of erro reports for different programs. Overall just slow and you have to have patience!! Has been reliable other than that.

12/27/2011 7:50:37 PM cmos battery died so I replaced it. PC kept rebooting in safe mode and going back to Jan 1, 2006. This is a test to see if the replacement of cmos battery worked to resolve this.

11/8/2010 2:04:39 AM I tried cleaning the computer to increase speed and performance and some how lost the audio after a scan told me that certain files weren't necessary. I tried everything to get the audio back up,but failed.I decided to restore the computer to a time prior to the changes. the audio was restored however,the process doubled all my files and filled my hard drive.I only have 3GB open space to work with and it's causing work on the computer to come to a stand still.All my files are reading restored, there is no differentiating.WHAT TO DO?

4/24/2011 5:28:37 PM had limited memory and a 1gig hard drive at purchase...recently tryed to up grade memory to 4g at which point it crashed...got it back from pc shop...lost all personal data...machine running worse now than before the memory was upgraded...

2/9/2016 3:18:36 PM every day at 2 to 3 seperate regular intervals it gets a steady busy light and is doing something. I can't figure what process it could be doing. During that time it is near unresponsive. Then after a bit, it frees up.
