The Dell Inspiron 530 is part of its budget desktop line. It contains many of the same features as in other manufacturers lower end systems. Dell's one differentiator is that it has Bluetooth built into its media card reader. Some of the common features for the Inspiron 530 include a 1.8GHz Intel Pentium E2160, Memory 2GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM, a discrete graphics card having its own memory, so it won't steal from the system, Hard drive 320GB, 7,200 rpm and 16x dual-layer DVD burner optical drive.

1/30/2015 5:18:25 AM old Dell Inspiron 530 and changed out HDD for SSD and installed Windows 8 x64, which wasn't recogmended. And now I have a rocket ship that takes 6 seconds to boot. Of course the video is bottom line

3/20/2023 9:39:16 AM Purchased in 2006, luckily with 6GB RAM. It's still running strong. I open a lot of web pages, MSPaint, Notepad, File Explorer, and so on, at once; and run it out of memory, thus every couple weeks have to shut down to re-gain available memory.

Everything ran fine but the Outlook program was very slow and I had to reboot repeatedly. PC Matic could not fix that problem. Now - after loosing most of my files the computer runs like new. I intend to renew my PC matic license with you.

I do have problems connecting to the Internet sometimes, but those problems just started, and, of course, it is very slow. For what I do, that doesn't bother me too much, but it would be nice to have it in step with me.

Can not restore it to it orginal condition. Because I lost a bounch of files also. So could you help me repair my computer. I really would appreciate this and awful lots. A few times I got the wireless mouse working but it only lasted a few days at a time. I'm currently using the wired mouse and wireless keyboard which is a shame since I bought wireless "SET" and would like to be able to use BOTH.

12/6/2009 10:19:32 AM Computer recently started to malfunction while booting-up. Dell technicians determined it was due to the boot priority switching from the hard drive to the cdrom drive. Two days later the problem occurred again, but this time they found that the boot priority did not change, but the Vista was corrupted. After Vista was reinstalled it worked fine until the next morning. I checked the boot priority and found it had switched the hard drive and cdrom again. For the last two days, it appears to be working satisfactorily.

When trying to fix the error they told me that my windows was probably corrupted and I would have to back up and reinstall Windows. I did not want to do that. The hard drive creashed and Dell offered a 10% discount on another hard drive...........NOTHING ELSE.....I was able to find a company, locally, who recovered most of our files and data. Scannow says that I have a corrupted TCP file that it can not fix Display WMI 10 error has persisted for months with no resolution from microsoft, forums or Nvidia.
