6/10/2015 1:38:06 PM For the past several weeks since renewing my AVG antivirus subscription, but declining to also remew their additional maintenance/tune-up program, I keep getting warning pop-ups, and for the past three days after logging off, when I try to log back on, my password is not accepted and I get a message, "User Profile Service services failed login." I have to shut down hard, and startup in "safe mode," and do a "restore." I'm sick of it. Hope PCMatic will do better. Will AVG interfer with PCMatic? Should I uninstall it?

1/2/2010 4:45:03 AM dad tried to install programs he liked from old old old pc, they didn't work, and the drivers are all old, so I'm always getting "driver_irql_not_less or equal" bsod messages, then the black screen comes up that makes me have to choose "last known good configuration" and THEN I get a bubble on my quick launch telling me junk drivers . . disabled. . something something. I tried to uninstall everything he "copied" over and cleaned my registry, hoping this test will tell me what else is wrong.
