4/13/2016 4:51:12 PM Not so much the computer, but Microsoft. Hit with Cerbus Ransomware two days ago. Ended up wiping my hard drive clean and resetting. Have had do that twice before (three times in past 18 months). First tow times were due to Microsoft forcing Windows 8.1 updates, importing a slew of viruses, spyware and malware in the process. Dell Tech Support could not clean out the viruses, resulting in wiping out my files. External hard drive backup worked the first time. Second time it was also infected. Haven't checked it this time until I had new protection (PC Matic) installed. Most likely was encrypted with the rest of my files. Past security products (Micrisoft and MacAfee) didn't stop or detect them. I'll be switching to Apple next time around aS I am siclk of losing valuable business files.
