6/11/2020 2:15:46 PM Computer will run so slow that it becomes unusable. I discovered that when I go into the Task Manager and click Show Processes From All Users that a Host Process for Windows Services will begin to utilize so much memory that it causes everything else to be unusable. What I have found is that when I delete this particular process it then returns. I delete it and it returns again. Sometimes it returns a 3rd time and I delete it and then it no longer reappears. It uses between 700,000k and 1,300,000k. My hunch is that by me deleting this it might be impacting processes that PC-Matic scan processes need to run properly but I don't know for sure, of course.

9/25/2012 10:01:45 PM Computer was hit by power spike I think when lightning struck nearby and fried the UPS (Belkin) it was plugged into. Whenever this computer restarts it is extremely slow and I have to tell it in Boot options where the hard drive is to find Windows.
