8/13/2010 9:28:51 AM THIS COMPUTER IS A CLONE BUILD BY MYSELF. AS I AM A RETIRED ELECTRICAL ENGINEER I ENJOY VERY MUCH BUILDING MY OWN COMPUTERS. TODAY I WENT TO COMP-USA AND BOUGHT PINNACLE STUDIO HD AND THE SALESMAN SOLD ME THIS PC TUNE-UP PROGRAM. A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO I BOUGHT A PC AND THEY SOLD ME YOUR ANTIVIRUS PROGRAM BUT I HAD TOO MANY PROBLEMS WITH IT AND REMOVED IT FROM THE ONLY PC I HAD IT INSTALLED. I HOPE THIS PROGRAM WILL KEEP THIS PC RUNNING WITHOUT PROBLEMS.

1/12/2014 4:14:52 PM I could not test the computer first before these questions popped up. When installing I got this message: PCMaticUI-main.js?860 Line 16101 Error: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process showed up. So I had to give an Unsatisfied for now. I would like to see how my computer is after I completed the scan. I already had an antivirus Microsoft Securities Essential running so after that message, I couldn't complete the first scan. Went into msconfig and unchecked the Microsoft Securities Essential in startup and did a new scan since the first one did not work. I don't even know if the other two free ones that were to be added are on my computer yet so I don't know if I have the antivirus protection from PCMatic. Love to be able to give a very satisfied rating but can't yet. Sorry

7/3/2009 4:12:00 PM I was 100% satisfied when I first purchased it. In 11/2008, I caught a (rootkit) virus that won't go. I formatted HDD and installed a fresh Win XP. I got rid of random hangups and other funny things but the computer remained slow. I then used Windows Performance Logs and discovered that AVG was using excessive paging (max 1900pages/sec) so I uninstalled it and since then I'm almost satisfied but never as before because boot up takes about 2.5-3 minutes and there is excessive fragmentation in drive C: which is boot disk and Windows system disk. I think I'm running a lot of Start Up service/applications and having too many software installations/uninstalls.

4/6/2010 2:04:42 PM A shopkeeper challenged me that his used Dell Optiplex GX270 with Pentium 4, 2.8GHz, 1GB RAM, and 5200 RPM hard disk computer was faster than my Core 2, 2.66GHz, 2GB RAM and 7200 RPM. I bought that computer for my 4 year kid and guess what? It is indeed faster than my "high tech" computer!
