Albeit they are supposed to make my computer run better, they end up making my computer run lousy. This is why I use PCPitstop as my "go to guys" for all of my fix it needs. I did have a lot of problems due to trend micro software causing my PC to reboot constantly. Once I lost Trend Micro, that problem was fixed.

It's not just the games. I miss my " Picture It 9". best picture editor with not too many bells and whistle and easy to use multi-layers "PNG".

2/10/2010 12:32:19 AM The only problem I have is choppy sound, too much buffering, freezing when viewing online streaming video's, youtube, using Adobe Flash. Some sites are fine others are not. I uncheck the accelertor box in the settings on each video. I dragged the accelerator bar to minimize this problem in my desktop display settings. Ihave 480 MB ram. I have 74 GB and 46.7GB is free. I completely uninstalled Flash and re-installed. I clean my registry, defrag, delete internet temp files once a week. I end unnecessary processes in my task manager. My visual effects in my hardware performance has only 3 items selected (custom). Paging set to 1500 MB for both intial size and max size.

9/23/2023 12:42:04 AM Have been having a crashing issue. Steam games will hang or suddenly disappear. Web browsers will randomly "craash" (it says "something went wrong while dipslaying this wibpage. STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION")...yet a quick refresh immediately works every time (until the next crash). Reimaged the OS, updates all applications and drivers (including latest BIOS update; also including fresh installs of all applications and games after OS reimaging). Nothing works to resolve this issue that began within the last two or three weeks. I have an i9-13900KS, the Asus Z90 Maximus Hero, RTX 3090 TI F.E. and G.Skill Trident Z5 48GB DDR5 7200 (F5-7200J3646F24GX2-TZ5RS). Its running a liquid coold CPU with a 360MM radiator and 10 120 MM Lian Li fans. This is a very high end system that should not be haing these kinds of problems. I have also tried adjusting my RAM speed down as low as 5000 and disabled the efficiency cores in the processor. Nothing has worked. I am going to try reverting the BIOS and ME back to factory and then updating back to one version behind where I am right now. Wish me luck! (I am going to need it!)
