12/21/2013 8:34:30 PM It is just a cheap laptop that I got to replace the last one. I have another computer in my recording studio that I built, it is a PC, intel board with Windows 7 especially set up for my recording and songwriting programs. I am building a PC for my home office and just need help keeping this one (laptop) running properly. I am not a computer super user, programs boggle my mind and so I need a program like yours to help maintain performance of these infernal machines. I am retired and a lifelong musician who built houses for a living. Computers are a real block in my mind, I reckon I am just from a generation that thinks the older way of doing things was better. I.E. the computer age has totally screwed up society as a whole, with folks demanding everything NOW and whining about not having things easier. I think computers have robbed folks of a work ethic and given them a mindset of entitlement. To me, they are just tools and, for me, just make the recording of my music an affordable venture. The computer has also, for musicians, broght the Music Industry back to reality, letting them know that they really are not Gods (with apology to God) who can pick and choose just who can record music and put it out. So, I am just a man of two opinions on these tools. They are just tools, not miracle makers. They cannot write the music in my heart and soul but can give a poor man like me a chance to publicize it in an affordable manner.

No matter what the pop up setting I still get pop ups that say things are out of date however when i check it on microsoft update it says all up to date.
