The Acer Aspire 5735 has been called a mainstream laptop at a Netbook price. It 's 15.6 inch screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The 5735 uses an older 2.0 GHz dual-core Intel Pentium processor. 12/15/2009 2:28:12 AM Acer Aspire 5735 Core2Duo Centrino/320 7200 Fuji/4 gigs DDR2/Vista x64/Win7 Dual Boot. Both OS's are very fast, Vista had time to be tweaked then Win 7 was not as time consuming. Runs Cool to Medium. Average Batt life. Very Nice for Price.

12/13/2010 2:50:32 PM I could never get windows updates to work on my Office 2003, all of a sudden I started getting malware etc. when I changed to Avira anti-virus program... I started playing with it to try to fix it, my "User Profiles" got messed up and I can't get them back. Something keeps changing my home page, and other things, I see files I've never seen before. I had the "blue screen" this morning for the first time and it was related to User Profiles in temp files. I have no idea what to do. Computer doesn't really run slowly for what processor, ram etc is in it. Just randomly.. Alot of Acer crap on it.

5/1/2011 2:55:20 AM i just think that my file system and registry are messedup. in oct 2010 i almost deleted all my registry files but found them and tried to save them from the recycle bin, now i think alot of files are messed up. also many files that i look at just give me an errir feeling that i have viruses and spyware and maybe even someone controlling my computer. i don't understand akot about these things but enough that i am nervouse. hoping someone can reaasure me.

3/10/2013 7:34:07 PM Just reinstalled Vista Home Premium 64bit and having hard crashes without warnings. Seems to do it mostly after being on for atleast 15mins and put under a load. It has hard crashed 50+ times while trying to install all the updates.

3/9/2010 1:27:05 AM windows dejade fubcionar con frecuencia. los programas no fucionan bien. parece que hay interferenias con Windws lie y windows live avisa "con film parodia" que likedin hace pishing con nosotros y menciona nombre de técnicos y personas que no tenía por qué conocer. Da la impresión de que tiene que tener cosas que no tiene y le sobran otras. Como si lo manejaran más personas que el propietario. Como si entrara mucha gente.
