The Acer Aspire One is a line of subcompact notebook computers, or netbooks, released in July 2008 by Acer Inc. It is based on the Intel Atom platform, which consists of the Intel Atom N270 processor, Intel 945GSE Express chipset which only supports 2 GB of RAM and Intel 82801GBM (ICH7M) I/O controller. The A110 model ships with an 8 GB or 16 GB solid-state drive (SSD).

9/4/2010 11:25:16 PM Reboots seem to be caused by static elec. affect between battery and plug in if used plugged in for a long time?! Otherwise until recently I was very satisfied with it. Now it is slow....hope this helps.thx

1/29/2011 7:14:07 AM This computer has been great! I've owned it for about 2 years now. It's got a lot of memory, it's very easy to grab it and go - it even went on vacation with me! I only had a time or two where the small screen size caused me to be unable to see the complete screen when playing a video game or a pop up window in a program wouldn't be completely seen.

2/18/2023 5:30:03 PM Old Acer 10" laptop that began running slow, and powering itself off after upgrading from XP. Almost chucked it into the recycle bin. Loaded the latest verion of Windows 10 from scratch and re-activated. Now in the process of re-building everything. Still slow, as expected, but running much better now. Even the mouse curser is steady now. Should be useful for trips to the library.

It had a weird address including "quack" etc and I figured it was some sort of virus or trojan or something. Otherwise, besides being a little slow I love this computer. It has XP and I do not want Windows 8 and can't seem to upgrade to 7.

When I discovered what was going on, I didn't know what to do with the information. This was a few years ago. So when I saw pc matic commericals I knew I needed your services. I learned from your commericals Norton is from India and so were my hackers. But they gave my mom a call back number. Which put two and two together.

Often it will not load more than one IE page and requires restart/ reboot. Though otherwise it has been a great computer to use in times I'm unable to get to my main computer, or for travel.

Some Programs can not be loaded such as the Encyclopedia Britanica because the resolution of the screen is not large enough. Some software programs such as Meriams-Webster's Dictionary Loads up but you cannot get to the window at the bottom of the screen to register the product!
