6/16/2009 7:36:37 PM Currently, the computer only runs in Safe Mode. In normal mode, Vista loads normally but no files can be opened and the network fails. Attempting to open a program locks the computer and forces shut down. The computer also does not shut down once in normal mode -- a continuous "logging off" is shown with no movement to close.

8/24/2012 3:53:44 PM When the laptop works, it's fine, but it often freezes and is sometimes very slow. Despite having anti-viral ware it always seems to pick up little problems that slow it down. I seem to run PC Matic more than I use the darn thing! But I have been told by my partner it's because the machine has very little memory capacity. It is however, adequate for my needs, but if I did need to use it more than just browsing & checking e-mails I would be very annoyed with it.

11/16/2010 3:20:48 AM I backed up all my files on Drive D and made a mistake doing that. I don't know how to get them off. I had already deleted the recycle bin. Now it said to fix Drive D, I need to delete everything in the recycle bin, and there is no files to delete, for I already deleted the recycle bin. I thought if I had you to scan it, you would be able to fix it. you were not able to do that for some reason. I just don't know what to do. Thanks anyway. I guess I will hsve to call Dell.
