To get it runnning again to where it is usable and fast I must do all the maitinance myself, Dell does not care to help their customers either. I will never buy a dell again and I advise all others to never buy Dell aswell.

4/10/2017 3:24:50 AM Wireless connection to my home router: starts up then quickly goes away. Found suspicious files in the "windows\inf\setupapi.app.log" installed recntly (since ~2/25/17 through 4/9/17) and don't know how to get rid of. The files are: (1) [DIF_DESTROYPRIVATEDATA], (2) [DIF_REMOVE - ROOT\*ISATAP\0003], and (3) [DIF_PROPERTYCHANGE - PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_4232&SUBSYS_13218086&REV_00\4&B04CCE1&0&00E1]. That last one #(3) has a command line instruction that recurrs (seemingling every time I start the computer up): "cmd:C:\windows\system32\svhost.exe - K LocalSystemNetworkRestricted" Could this be causing my wireless network to not work properly? NOTE: Purchase date below is just a guess.

12/3/2017 4:46:09 PM I have been begging for some helpever since my one year ended and I upgraded to lifetime. The truth is you really have no support. I asked for a call back and was told you don't do that. So why do I have to give you my phone number everytime I need help? Had I known this is what you really are, I would never have renewed. It's still not working right. Apprently I need to buy 5 more computers (10) in order to get it to work on the 5 I actually own.

2/7/2010 7:24:37 PM It is incredible how the hard drive of my brand new laptop failed and I had to replace it within the first two months of purchase. Then the new drive also gives me problems. The laptop now has become slow and the PC tune up which I purchased at Dell's advice also does not recognize the Mcafee antivirus. The laptop takes a long time to boot. Sometimes the AC Adapter not found message comes. In a way it has become very unreliable. Any message can pop up anytime and stop me from doing my work.

1/9/2010 10:52:03 AM Automatic Windows updates have caused frequent problems with the ability to maintain settings. Wireless internet connection has been a big problem, mainly due to settings that have changed due to automatic updates that were installed.
