8/17/2009 10:53:22 AM Just update the hard drive and maxed out the memory (2GB); just wanted to see how much difference it made. Install all available updates from HP and Microsoft; removed the paging file; defraged the hard drive; put back the maximum size paging file. I own two copies of Optimize 2; one for my work computer and one for my home computer.

9/6/2014 11:09:26 PM This is a refurbished laptop that was purchased for Windows XP. The documentation and design software for my products are in 30 year old Autosketch and Orcad SDT and PCB cad and printed circuit board design softwares. I've got 30 years of engineering records that I'm trying to maintain. I've tried the newer verstions of these and other programs, and the learning curve is always too steep and I go back to my old stuff because it works. I'm glad you chose to support Windwows XP, because I need it to support my product design programs.
