8/7/2010 6:40:41 AM Recently upgraded from windows vista home premium to windows 7 home premium,then to windows 7 professional. After installation of some programs the computer will prompt for a restart, but the computer will not come back online after a restart, the computer has to be turned off then turned back on. Restart does not seem to work any more.

10/12/2010 6:28:08 PM I really like it. It can do almost as much as my desktop. Far more than I expected. When I bought it I thought it would be an expensive game and email machine. But I've discovered areas that I had no idea would be on here and am not sure my desktop has. I'm handicapped and really needed to take rest breaks from the desktop. Having this laptop makes it easier for me physically. I use it almost exclusively.

Hopefully that is fixed now.

4/10/2015 1:24:14 PM It is super slow on booting up, surfing the internet, etc. I was very satisfied when it was first bought. The screen hinges broke, and Geek Squad at Best Buy replaced it and said the hard drive had to be replacedd due to newness of the new screen. It had Windows Vista originally and now it has Windows 7 home premium. Also the DVD drive does not work all the time.

Often I have to restart to get out of hangups. It does not freeze. I run high speed Internet using Time Warner and my husband's Sony laptop is not slow or "not responding" on the internet.
