After installation of some programs the computer will prompt for a restart, but the computer will not come back online after a restart, the computer has to be turned off then turned back on. Restart does not seem to work any more.

But I've discovered areas that I had no idea would be on here and am not sure my desktop has. I'm handicapped and really needed to take rest breaks from the desktop. Having this laptop makes it easier for me physically. I use it almost exclusively.

8/30/2015 8:47:35 AM Just upgraded to Windows 10. McAfee is incompatible with Windows 10 and deleted itself. Then I received a Malware download from an Internet site while doing research. PCMatic removed the Malware and my computer boots up a lot faster.

It says something about crash and contact administrator. It take hours of rebooting and clicking repair or restore before is decides to come back up.

7/7/2011 6:19:12 PM This computer runs very slowly. A bootup is especially slow. Firefox, Word, Excel, etc are forever "not responding." I bought this HP laptop July 2009. Often I have to restart to get out of hangups. It does not freeze. I run high speed Internet using Time Warner and my husband's Sony laptop is not slow or "not responding" on the internet.
