3/26/2018 9:36:12 PM From beginning,I hate to admit it but this computer has been a problem. Had to contact HP a few times already. And it gets corrected, but just doesn't seem to run as fast and smoothly as I had expected, especially for the model, hey not the top top model but it is a helluva BETTER computer. Cost me ( my wife) plenty. I hope it will eventually get up to speed. My olddddd one seems faster. Plus if I put this on SLEEP, it takes forever to open or no, it doesn't put you right back where you left off! And the keyboard at times is slow as well, or the screen is slow...I type words and look at screen and maybe a third of them are showing, I stop, and wait and watch the letters show up on screen like they were pecked/choppy. Ok thats enough! Well what i can recall right now. The 2 following question answers are meant as at times it does!

1/8/2018 12:26:37 PM This is a new HP PC with an I7 processor and Windows 10 operating system which replaced an old Toshiba with Widows 7 operating system which had problems. A local IT shop transferred old files to new machine and new OFFice 365 software to replace old 2007 Office software. I am still getting use to new operating system. May be running HP Defender Anti-Virus software?

Recently when I click on my bank's website hoping to check my balance, a warnig urges me to get off the sight immediately because something is compromised.

2/8/2019 1:24:38 PM At or near one year after the purchase of this cuputer, the windows program was shut down (how I do not know) by somemone posing as a Microsoft rep. that I think was a scam, and I had to pay approx. $300 to alledgedly get the windows 10 program back up and running for 3 years. A year later, this last January, someone contacted me wanting more money to renew my Windows 10 operating program. This copupter was purchased from Best Buy with the Windows 10 program on the cuputer. This is the reason I purchased PC Matic, hoping to stop this from happening to my computer and 2 other laptops I now own.

5/7/2021 8:33:49 PM This is to answer in addition to my response of next two questions. But, first I am curious why you ask me these questions?! As for running slowly. yes it does , well has at times, a lot slower then a computer of this type and level should run. (For me this compter is the most expensive one I have ever owned.I have one 11 years old and I have less problems with that one and I must add I DO NOT have PC Matic on it.) And have rarely ever needed a tune up on it as I have had to do on this one which I have PC Matic, just an observation No. 2 YES, lock ups/reboots, more often then I care to admoit. Every 4-6 (maybe) weeks I need to contact Tech support, for help/tune up. Which is why I am thinking you guys are so interested in knowing this stuff, because of the possibility of offering your Tech Support. I would aPPRECIATE YOUR RESPONSE, SINCERELY, IN AN Email (gawd, please excuse those damn caps, not meant! ) I am kind of fond of PC Matic. Or I sure as hell woulf not be reinstalling it, after Tech had removed it on my latest trip thereto fix this computer! Thank you guys. I appreciate it!

8/30/2017 6:17:13 PM New as of yesterday 8/29/17, Used spariingly and today received an error message regarding Microsoft Edge malware issue. A Trojan worm wes reportedly affecting the computer an a window popped up for me to call an 877 number which I did. It did not sound like a professional environment on the other end of the line. The person sounded like they were in a boiler room call center and did not sound like a microsoft office. The person was possibly from India or that region. I hung up.

1/23/2018 8:11:19 PM I just bought a new computer as I'm out of town travelling on business. I had to buy a new laptop because the hard drive on my other crashed. A couple of months ago my PC Matic failed to automatically update and malware all of sudden appeared on my screen. I reinstalled PCMatic nad followed your tech groups instructions. However my computer was not operating correctly and finally crashing. PCMatic did not find or fix the malware and neither did the software link. So I now have doubts on PCMatic and will keep a wary and careful eye on how PCMatic is working.
