11/8/2009 5:18:15 PM This is my second Toshiba laptop and I have had heat issues and had it in for repair requiring a new battery and tune up. I bought a warranty through Staples and likely won't do that again.

9/11/2010 5:32:17 PM This has been an excellent and reliable laptop. It has worked hard and travelled far. I recently replaced the battery but this has been the only hardware maintence required. I have re-installed windows a number of times, but that has only been because of my own belief that windows is a self-degenerating program. I hope to get another 1-2 years from this machine.

5/10/2009 12:15:20 AM The harddrive was recently replaced - I had it replaced by a licensed Toshiba store. I had to replace it because the other drive was giving BSOD and apparently had bad sectors. Also, it seems like my internet connection is frequently down. Not sure if this is the fault of my internet provider, or my computer.
