6/25/2009 6:35:21 AM I'm having the same problem as the young lady posted on this page: http://forums.pcpitstop.com/index.php?showtopic=113196 I booted my computer yesterday morning before unplugging my external hard drive, which I use to back up each night. It will only boot in safe mode or safe mode with networking. I've tried "last known config that worked", with not luck. Presumeably as a result of running in safe mode, my McAfee is not working and cannot be "fixed". Also, my monitor is projecting in a size larger than my screen, making it difficult to see everything at once. I've tried resetting that but it won't change resolution, just defaults back to the lowest res. I've been working on this for hours and hours, yesterday and this morning. I'm working my way through the thread referenced above to see if I can fix it. So far, no luck.

2/26/2011 2:47:22 AM I have been a toshiba customer since my first 1999, this is my 3rd latop, and have no complaints. I keep it simple, and not a heavy user. that about wraps it up. Other my biggest complaint is that the home wireless cable network, it is supposed to roadrunner, but it is always crashing on me, keeps claiming network is out of reach or low signal, and it not, its right here almost next to me. will call the company.

It has been doing that for approx 6 months. spell check sometimes puts the correct spelt word in the middle of the incorrect word. i can also be typing away and no letters are visable on the page/moniter. slow boot up internet rebuts at whim.

12/12/2011 8:48:50 PM The internal CD/DVD drive broke just past the warranty, so I bought a Sony external CD/DVD drive that worked until a few days ago when it just started malfunctioning. Aside from that & the recent sluggish action & 'hang ups' it's been a good computer. I can't afford a new one at this time, so I'm hoping the PCMatic will keep it going for quite a while.

10/24/2010 7:00:09 PM when typing words the curser jumps to other spots on the page and continues the word you are typing in the middle of other words and in other paragraphes. It has been doing that for approx 6 months. spell check sometimes puts the correct spelt word in the middle of the incorrect word. i can also be typing away and no letters are visable on the page/moniter. slow boot up internet rebuts at whim.
