I went back and bought the very same laptop and a 2nd one for my sister. So this is now my 5th Toshiba Laptop and my FAVORITE so far!! :)

Couldn't get to download, tried at least 6 times to contact you folks for help vie email and offered my cell phone#. NO REPLY!! NOT ONE!! Had to open a 2nd acct under another email so I could PAY AGAIN!! (My old acct was the Life time acct!) Just so I could get some Security. MY EMAIL WAS HACKED under the old PCMatic also!! Had to scrub hardrive.. Why am I giving you guys another try?? BECAUSE YOU ARE AMERICAN OWNED, RUN, and OPERATED!! Hope it works better this time or I'll be forece to switch back to Kapersky... I waisted $150 from my original Lic fee for 5 computers. I signed up for 5 again but only 1 yr lic this time to see how well it works this time. I HOPE BETTER. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I bought it from Best Buy and I do have "Geek Squad" - Black Tie coverage, but haven't had time to bring it in to be fixed - too busy to leave it for an extended period of time.

9/24/2015 4:06:54 PM Well, I did love it. Until recently. I know it is old and running Windows 7. Windows 8 was a horror. And I cannot afford Windows 10 right now -- and am afraid of losing privacy. But now this one is very slow all of a sudden. My outlook.com works so slowly and badly -- don't know if it is program or computer. I have to reboot frequently to gain speed overall. And it has started looking funny. Can't explain. Anyway, I love the computer. Can't afford new programs for Windows 10 upgrade, so I want to keep it working as long as I can. Can you help?

It's an excellent computer. Today, 18 Feb 2010 I've had nothing but problems with the computer. I had an error message yesterday, which I tried to get resolved today. Today the computer froze while I was in the middle of one operation. I had to do a restart and that's not a good sign after only one day.

2/24/2010 6:33:13 PM I just got it today, 23 Feb 10. Today, 24 Feb 10, I ran the Extended Hard Drive Test and the computer sate for almost two hours at 21% complete on the first test. I called Toshiba and the tech told me that that was not normal and the hard drive was defective and the computer needs to be replaced. I've had IE8 freeze on me several times just today and yesterday. This is not a reliable computer, much to my dismay.
